Great speakers can inspire, educate, and energize us to take action for liberty. That’s why we’re turning to you for suggestions! Whether it’s renowned libertarian voices, thought leaders from across the political spectrum, or experts in areas that align with our principles, we want to know who you’d like to see take the stage.

Submit your guest speaker ideas and vote on your favorites. While we’ll do our best to secure the top suggestions, please note that costs and speaker availability will play a role in the final selections.

Eddie Craig

Focuses on the Transportation Code, the Right to travel, liberation from the Transportation Code, and the people standing for themselves in the courts.

Justin Pulliam

Justin Pulliam, a citizen journalist arrested while covering Fort Bend County Sheriff’s deputies, won a first-round victory in his civil rights lawsuit brought by the Institute for Justice (IJ). He has also been covered by reason magazine and an advocate for first amendment audits.

Derrick Broze

Derrick Broze is an author, journalist, documentary filmmaker, and activist based in Houston, Texas. In 2010, Derrick founded the activist alliance The Houston Free Thinkers, organizing protests, music festivals, community gardens, skillshares, and other community events. In 2011, he began broadcasting his radio show Free Thinker Radio, which continues to air on 90.1 KPFT in Houston. In 2013, he founded The Conscious Resistance Network, a site dedicated to multimedia journalism that exposes corporate and governmental corruption while highlighting solutions. Derrick has been producing videos, essays, and articles since 2011. In 2015, he began writing books and has released one every year since. He co-authored The Conscious Resistance trilogy with John Vibes and authored The Holistic Self-Assessment. Derrick started writing and producing documentaries in 2015. Since 2013, he has spoken in the United States, Europe, and Central America. His goal is to create a conscious agora of free humans who desire to be free of force, coercion, and violence.

Dan Behrman

Daniel 'Dan' "Taxation is Theft" Behrman is an internet personality and podcaster from Texas. In 2014, he was the Libertarian nominee for District 125 in the Texas House of Representatives. Author of "Taxation is Theft: How Politicians Rob You Blind."

Evan McMahon

Libertarian, Filmmaker, Chair of LPIN, and founder of Bad Evan Productions. Author of "Good Ideas Don't Require Force."

Bill Redpath

William "Bill" Redpath is the current treasurer of the Libertarian National Committee. He is also a former chair and longtime member of the Libertarian National Committee and past Treasurer of the Libertarian National Congressional Committee who has been involved with the Libertarian Party since 1984.

Deirdre McCloskey

Deirdre Nansen McCloskey is Distinguished Professor Emerita of Economics and of History, and Professor Emerita of English and of Communication, adjunct in classics and philosophy, at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Trained at Harvard in the 1960s.

John Mackey

John Mackey, co-founder and former CEO of Whole Foods Market, has led the natural and organic grocer as it has grown from a single store in Austin, Texas, founded in 1978, to an $11 billion Fortune 300 company, and a top U.S. supermarket with more than 340 stores.

Lars Mapstead

Serial Entrepreneur and Libertarian Advocate, Lars Mapstead is a seasoned entrepreneur with a track record of successful ventures across the digital and tech space.

Mike Sertic

Mike Sertic, president of Advocates for Self-Government, has led efforts to expand outreach and recruit new libertarians. Under his leadership, the organization has developed innovative tools like engaging quizzes and digital platforms to make libertarian values.
