Avens O’Brien is a 2nd-generation libertarian activist based in Los Angeles. Avens was Vice Chair of the LPNH from 2006-2008, sits on the Los Angeles County and California Judicial Committees, and has volunteered on several liberty campaigns, including local races and presidential – Badnarik in 2004, Ron Paul in 2008, and McAfee in 2016. She also worked for Peter Schiff at Euro Pacific Capital from 2013-2014. She co-founded a mycology company with her partner Judd Weiss in 2021 with the mission to decentralize access to psychedelics through education & legal loopholes. As of 2025, they've sold 200,000 products in 700 stores across all 50 states and have a partnership with Mike Tyson.
