The conservative national media outlets have recently revealed a strong interest in raising issues about the decline of the Democratic Party, and how they can improve. The same media outlets have historical kept the Libertarian Party out of the political narrative, and focused only on the Republican and Democratic Parties. This may be a good time for a workshop or forum on how the Libertarian Party can start replacing the Democratic Party in the "two-party" system at all levels of government.

A workshop or forum on the History of libertarian thought, including a discussion about Christian and/or Secular origins. A look at the 17th century Christian take-over of the British Crown and government, and the 18th century Christian-led American Revolution.

I think we are missing out on having the fabulous Pat Dixon (if willing) deejay a karaoke night on Saturday. I think a fundraiser could be developed out of this, where one person can donate to have another person sing a song, and they can either accept or outbid to not do it. Or whatever, just an idea. I just know that Nolan Schmidt, founder of the Karaoke Caucus, will be pleased if we can do this as an event. Maybe even during the gala instead of a speaker.

As a fundraiser, and with the talent of so many Libertarians across our state, I propose a silent auction of donated items. Swag, handcrafted items, event tickets, bitcoin, autographed photos, and gift certificates are just a few of the possibilities we could auction off. And yes, I'd be willing to head this up.
