Saturday Evening Social: The Square → Austin County Fair & Rodeo Join the Austin County Libertarians on Saturday, October 10 for an evening out at one of Austin County’s biggest traditions—the Austin County Fair & Rodeo! We’ll start the evening at Huff Brewing Company, then head over to the Square around 4:30 PM before making our way to the Fairgrounds. Getting to the Fair A free shuttle will run to the Fairgrounds between 5:00 PM and 6:45 PM, giving everyone plenty of time to explore before the rodeo kicks off at 7:30 PM. Come early and make an evening of it. There are dining options on the Square, at the Fair, and along the route in between, so grab dinner before heading to the arena—or find your favorite fair food once you arrive. Experience the Austin County Fair & Rodeo The County Fair & Rodeo is not to be missed. Whether you’re a rodeo veteran or this is, in fact, your first rodeo, the Austin County experience is idyllic, fun for the family, a wild ride with a group of friends, and one of the liveliest ways to spend a Texas Saturday night. And don’t head straight for the arena! Take some time to see the livestock and stop inside the Women’s Center to check out the home ec entries—including art, crafts, sweet treats, floral work, and more. Rodeo + Evening Entertainment The rodeo begins at 7:30 PM with open seating. We’ll be looking for seats on the back/east side of the rodeo arena, farthest from the ag buildings.
