A protest against authoritarianism, government overreach, and the overall egregious abuses of power committed by the state and federal government (i.e., the ICE crimes, potential new wars, THC ban, attacks on free speech, national guard deployment, and so on). This event will show the nation that the Libertarian party is willing to stand up and fight for the people while the main parties won't. The potential benefits very much outweigh the cost.

 

The event will take place on the Great Walk and/or south steps outside of the Texas State Capitol building (whichever is more visible), and participants are encouraged to make their own signs, bring extra signs and gear, as well as record the event and post it on social media.
