The precinct convention serves as the starting point for active participation: Registered voters in Lamar County who did not vote in the March 3, 2026, Republican or Democratic primary election can fully participate by signing an oath of affiliation with the Libertarian Party upon arrival. Attendees may run for precinct chair positions and be selected as delegates to the county convention.
