Presenter: Jessi Cowart and others from the LPTexas Credentials Committee

Purpose: County Chairs and other leaders are encouraged to join this training on the essentials of facilitating the Precinct, County, and District Conventions taking place in March 2024. Those interested in being delegates are also welcome to join.

Expectations: Jessi will present a slide show and walk through using template forms utilized in conventions. Time will be allotted at the end for open Q&A. Our goal is that participants will gain an understanding of the overall requirements of hosting conventions, including details new to 2024, and that they will know next steps to take and where to get help if needed.

 

Please note that this training session will be "in person" and will begin at the conclusion of the SLEC meeting. We are anticipating a 4:30 pm start time, but this will depend on when the meeting is adjourned.
