Back the Cats Block Party is a street festival celebrating the kickoff of the Texas State Bobcats football season.

Last year, in its first year, an estimated 1,000 persons participated. There will be live music, the TSU marching band, cheerleaders, etc. Kind of a pep-rally atmosphere but also with street vendors participating.

Fun fun fun.

We will meet at 6:15pm at Zelicks. Wearing our gold (or black) Bob King for Texas 21 t-shirts, we will pass out shopping bags pre-loaded with campaign collateral to attendees who will be going from table to table picking up swag. It's easy, it's fun, and when we have handed out everything, we can enjoy the street party for awhile and then head back to Zelicks (or another haunt) to celebrate.
