On November 6, 2007, Ruben "Nazirite" Perez was elected to the board of the San Antonio River Authority for a six-year term. Perez will represent District 1 of Bexar County, a district with about 181,000 registered voters.
On May 12, 2007, Larry Bush was elected to the Jarrell City Council for a two-year term.
On May 13, 2006, Kevin Anderson was elected to Seat 2 on the Anna City Council.
Brett Hall was first elected to the Miami ISD Board in November 2001. He currently serves as the board's president.
Gerhard Kleinschmidt serves as the mayor of Annetta South, a city in Parker County.
David Mason, Treasurer of the Libertarian Party of Dallas County, serves on the Carrollton Board of Adjustment. Dave was inspired to submit an application to the Board in July 2004; he subsequently met with the members of the City Council and was appointed at the August meeting. He has since been re-appointed.
Carrollton, a few miles north of Dallas with a population of over 115,000, was settled in the 1840s and became an important rail freight center in the late 19th century. The nine-member Board of Adjustment is empowered by state law to review and make exceptions to city zoning ordinances or other administrative decisions by the city. Since the stated purpose is to render "full justice and equity to the general public," it is a great place for a Libertarian to make a difference.
