Hello, I am a dues-paying member of the California Libertarian Party and LNC and I will be moving to Texas for graduate school in the next couple months. I am curious what I can do to help out the party and be involved after I move there. This past election I had served as an alternate elector for the Libertarian party in California and did my part to actively support the Johnson/Weld ticket and local candidates, thank you.

This isn’t feedbook, but my uncle, James B. Veasaw, a former Libertarian candidate, passed away recently. He found strength through the Libertarian platform and campaign, and I wanted to share my post with the people of this platform, who meant so much to him.

I am the former chair of the Libertarian party of MN, when I took over as chair we had $800.00 and our ex dir hadn’t been paid in a month, after 2 years we had $12,000.00 and my ex dir was hired by the national party to offer the template we created to each and every state.

I will be moving to Tyler TX Dec 23rd, along with helping grow the Libertarian party I am also interested in working with the secession movement.

How do I change my party on my voter registration card, to the Libertarian party. I was a Republican, Gary Johnson got my attention. Gary Johnson was governor of New Mexico, when I lived there. Thank you for your help.

Were I the Director of Christian Outreach for the Libertarian Party of Texas, I would write letters to every pastor in Texas, seeking a face-to-face visit in their office. In that meeting, I would present a bumper sticker as my calling card, maybe even a coffee cup, as these don’t just go away. My statement would be on either or both the sticker and the cup: "The Non-Aggression Principle is Central to the Libertarian Party and is in Complete Harmony with “Sermon on the Mount” Christianity. Christians Vote Libertarian! Join today: I’m willing to do it, Gene Chapman

There is no local chapter for the LP in my county (Young County). Where should I start if I am interested in forming one?

Do any of the LP candidates in the lower level races even want to be elected? Very few provide any information to voter guides, I can’t find websites, or Facebook pages, or any information about the candidates. I want to support the Libertarian Party, but I won’t vote a straight party ticket. I want to know what my candidates stand for and believe in and what policies they hope to implement or take a stand on. Simply running as a Libertarian does not guarantee that the candidate actually believes in the Libertarian platform; we have nominated more than few ‘nuts’ in the past as Libertarians that didn’t actually share Libertarian views.

Please provide information about the candidates at the state and local levels. Perhaps ‘force’ the candidates to at the very least put up a webpage with their personal platforms.

I have served twenty years in the Marine Corps with the idea that anything I did was to protect our freedom from foreign countries. After retiring I have found that it is not protection from foreign countries but our own government.

I can abide by your principals….. I am pro-life, very much so, but I believe that by not having government pay for it and not making abortion illegal, you can begin a conversation with an individual.

I am currently a precinct chairman in my county for the Republican Party. After this election I would like to become an active member of the Libertarian Party.

The only suggestions I have are a Paypal donations interface and maybe a shorter Texas platform in English and Spanish. The one we have is a micromanaging laundry list that is taking me forever to translate into Portuguese. A lot of voters speak Spanish and Portuguese.

    Dear LP of Texas,

The following is a short video that I produced that might help you get out the vote for the Libertarian Party. Feel free to email a link to it to your party members, post it to your Facebook page, and/or tweet it on out.

    Sincerely yours,

Would you please quit taking out the $ 10.00 a month Bronze Level donation from my credit card? I can’t support Gary Johnson for President. He is the worst candidate on the ballot.
