Are the candidates fixed for 2018? I would like to run and I can beat anyone out there. I hope it is not too late to join in the fray.

How can I help you get organized and make a real impact. I have been trying to find a paid position where I can focus only on strategy and getting candidates in that have strong presence and true leadership that we can push out into the open. I personally want to run for office, but I feel like there is no strong active libertarian base anywhere that truly challenges the status quo.

I have epxerience in fundraising at campaign and grassroot level, know how to organize, know how to train candidates, create policy, etc. I want to help us become strong, more direct, and have the ability to secure new members for the Party on the state leveland National level. How can I work with the head Leaders of our Party?

So, long as the government continues to spray us and allows GMO crops/Monsanto to ruin our food sources, I think having cheap or free healthcare is providing “for the general welfare” and the least they can do since they are destroying our health and killing us.

Alzheimer’s, lung disease, and heart diseases have gone up astronomically since they started geoengineering. Life expectancy rates are going down. Children have severe Vitamin D and potassium depletion. There are extensive studies on it. Barium depletes potassium (chemtrails) and ‘causes heart disease. Aluminum (chemtrails) ’causes Alzheimer’s. 10-15% solar dimming – Vit. D depletion.

Otherwise, I do like much of the Libertarian platform.

    Due to retirement (financial) contraints,

I need to choose between supporting / donating the National OR the Texas Libertarian Party. What’s your record on me donating to the LPTeaxs side?

    Sincerely,

I applied for county chair but i would also like to run for office under the party. Please email or text me instead of posting on the website. I want to help establish a free America one that’s for it’s citizens.

I am tired of a corrupt two-party system degrading me to a vote, and not seeing me as an individual. I am tired of having to pay money I have worked for to institutions I find immoral, and institutions that do not benefit me or the majority of the American public. I am tired of being told that for the “greater good” my rights must be forcibly stripped from me. Enough is enough. This party is the only institution that truly protects not only me – but all americans. Thank you.

I wanted to leave a post on FB or to SLEC or the officers. I have written a thank you “letter” about the convention. I left it as a visitor post on FB, but my FB account is usually deactivated. So here is my letter:

Participating as a delegate in the 2018 Texas State Libertarian Convention was a revelation. I realized that democracy is not a goal but a process, and I think that this was the first time in my life that I really have participated in democracy. Wow! I am sixty-three years old and this is my first experience of democracy.

The first day I described as being both boring and interesting. Boring because there is a lot of sitting around and sometimes the procedures can seem tedious. And interesting because people are engaged and invested in what we are doing. We believe that what we are doing is important, maybe not in the details, but in the big picture.

On Sunday I started to see that this process is simultaneously chaotic and orderly. Chaotic in that the individuals and groups that make up our party each have different opinions and different ways that they want to accomplish the same goals. Orderly in that, via Robert’s Rules of Order and our own Rules, we manage to keep inching forward on the Agenda without too much acrimony.

Somehow three hundred plus Texans came together in Houston and created something that was greater than the sum of our parts. This is pretty amazing.

I think that most people, including myself, believe that democracy for the common person is about going into a voting booth and pressing buttons. This is akin to always eating at McDonald’s. Nothing against McDonald’s, but if your only choices are a burger with mayonnaise or a burger with mustard, that is not much of a choice. The voting booth is sort of a product-oriented version of democracy.

If more people had the opportunity to learn about and participate in the process of democracy, we would have them beating a path to our party’s door. There is a lot to learn about the process. As a rank beginner, I benefited from the knowledge and skill of the many people who have learned how to use Robert’s Rules of Order.

My thanks to every single person who participated.

Good morning, I was a registered Democrat in NY, but since I moved down here, I’m finding that I have positions that are unpopular with both parties and find myself straddling the aisle a lot. I’m interested to find out where the libertarian party stands, do you have a candidate running in TX-25? That’s West Austin, north through Burnet, Lampasas, Coryell, up past Waco to FW area

I am curious as to why the Libertarian Party does not participate in the primaries (at least the ones in Tarrant County Texas). I use the League of Women Voters website to read each candidate’s position on the relevant issues – & noticed an absence of Libertarian candidates, only Republicans and Democrats provided answers to a consistent set of questions..

I read in the March 6, 2018 FW Star Telegram that you have an upcoming Convention & advised people wanting to be involved in the Libertarian convention to not vote in the primaries!! How can we be involved citizens when advised to not vote – & one cannot vote for Libertarians in the primary since no Libertarian was on the ballot. Quite the “Catch 22” – especially for those of us who consider voting a responsibility of living in the US.

You have remarkably little on this site about whether to vote during the primaries today.

I live in Eastland (Eastland county). Will there be a libertarian primary in eastland county tuesday?

I noticed that you advise not to vote in the primary if you want to be a delegate.

Will there be a precinct convention in Eastland county?

    If so, where, when, etc.

I have a transpartisan idea for health reform that is woven with libertarian ideals: www.ChangeHealth.today If we’re serious about health reform, we need to empower patients with the funds to buy their care directly from physicians. That starts on a state level. Here’s to a bold future!

Hey, I want to vote libertarian in Texas, but I’m not sure how to do so, do I need to register? Or just write in the politicians name on the ballot? I’m only 18 so I don’t really have any idea
