After A Careful review of the Libertarian’s party’s policies . I Find I agree with Most . As well, I Also realize that the part is like Alot of Democrats And Is Running Away From Big Government. Those thinks Coupled with the

1st& 2nd Amendment Support.  The Party Look Really good. Unfortunately For Me its Stops there. Immigration Is a very big issue Now. And your Current policy Is a Very bad one. And While my Christian Beliefs say That Homosexuality is wrong. That is An issue with God and not Country. Every America should be able to marry Whom they Wish . However legalizing Prostitution Is Not right ., Solely for the Reason that It will cause an Increase in STDs- And Especially H.I.V .And Gives are Children In School An Impression Of a lack of Morality in the Adult Population. ( I Do not think you thought that one out). When you Have Fine tuned up your Beliefs out . Quite a Bit More . I think you will a have a  Great Voter Turnout. And Become Senators Congressmen or Women. But Until then . You Party is Just Giving the  Republican Party A .05 to 2% Jump At the Polls. For any Congressional , Senate , Or Gubernatorial Race. I Really would like to see the Party Advance to way better than That . So Please Really work on this . The United states Badly needs a Political Shakeup in Washington. And i Would very Much like to be a Part of It ,

    Sincerely,

    Mary Morris

Just joined. I am a Texas Police Officer. I have been reporting criminal activity involving Law Enforcement Officers. It would take hours to explain it all. My reporting of this activity has been ignored. If you are truly interested in civil liberties for individuals and want to protect citizens from unjust actions by District Attorneys and Judges, contact me. I have evidence to support my claims.

I agree with the Libertarian Party Platform on all things in principle if not in reality except for immigration. If someone enters this country illegally no matter what the reason, they are violating my rights. First of all is the free market wage earned by someone who lives here legally and pays his taxes, which the alien will not. Second, they are violating my rights by receiving government benefits that they are not entitled to under the constitution at my expense. Third, the Libertarian Party position on free and open borders and that no political boundrys should exist at all goes against it’s opposition that the military should be used only to defend our borders and protect us from invasion. For these reasons I am going to vote republican this year unless you can convince me otherwise.

Help me answer the question: If we get rid of Medicare, what will 90 year old people do for medical care? I am struggling with this question when I am out encouraging people to vote Libertarian.

I would have considered voting Libertarian until I noticed that not one of your entire party members were African American.

This isn’t representative of our state at all.

Sorry, but our country need diversity but honorable, respectable people can be found in all races.

    Hello Libertarian Party of Texas,

I watched the Senate debate last night and was disappointed in both candidates. I really feel like this is why people get so over the 2 party system. Neither of the candidates answered direct questions. Lots of deflections and political jargon. The more I hear both Republicans and Democrats talk, the more I want to run for office. I am not 100% on board with the Libertarian platform like I am not 100% on board with the Republican or Democratic platforms. I feel like the Libertarian party needs to become a centrist party. Compromise is not a dirty word. Peddling fear from the far right and the far left is just not healthy for us as a democracy. I want to be a voice for all. I want to speak up for what is right and what is wrong. Please reach out to me if you need a spokesperson or help with future campaigns. I am open to different political ambitions, although I tell myself no every time I see a politician speak. It is way too negative right now and we need a better path forward. Happy hump day!

    Hi team at Lptexas

    How are you?

Do you offer article placements on your site: Lptexas.org

    - We would get the article written which will fit the nature/topic of your site.

    - In the article there is a good chance there will be a link going to a gaming/betting review site, which will be very well integrated.

    - Payment is made via Paypal.

What are your rates for such a placement?

    Thank you

I would like to add this as a follow up. They are in fact highly responsive. I received a response very quickly, only they don’t post responses below but rather directly to the person making the comment. Please understand when reading people’s comments that they were in fact responded to and not ignored.

You state that you are highly responsive to comments on this site, however, there are so many people with comments that have not received a response. I have been a libertarian all of my life but have chosen to call myself an independent due to the lack of proper representation of the libertarian party. How can you expect people to take this party seriously when you can’t even take the running of this website seriously? I will be suprised but delighted if you are highly responsive to this comment.

I find I agree with the positions of the Libertarian Party on many issues, and considered ticking a few Libertarian boxes this year. There’s not a lot of information on candidates out there, so I was naturally drawn to this website.

First impressions are important, and leave an indelible mark. I can’t get past the rogues gallery of mostly terrible photographs of Libertarian candidates. The individuals couldn’t be bothered to post a good headshot, maybe looking a little professional, to aid in my decision-making? And if the individuals wouldn’t do it, then the Party should make it happen.

What I see here is reminiscent of the ballot from a high school student council election, and falls far below what I’d expect to see for a federal and state election.

    Sorry- you lost this vote.

    Good afternoon,

I am with The University Star Student Media Group on the Texas State University campus, and I am looking to see if any candidates listed on your site are interested in collegiate advertising? We have our annual Voter’s Guide on October 16th and would love to give our students the opportunities to learn about who they can vote for and their political stances. Please feel free to reach me by phone or email and thank you for your time!

I am on the website, vote smart and the Libertarian Party candidates don’t even have a picture up beside their name, why not. How can anyone take the party seriously if we don’t fully participate?

There’s nothing on the hyperlinks either! No bio, positions or speeches..

This site was recently mentioned in a news article and has a solid following nationally.
